The summer ESL Screening Test Administrator is responsible for screening registration information, and interviewing and/or scheduling testing appointments with parents of newly registered rising K-12 students, who have a home language other than English to determine eligibility for ESL services. Must have ESL K-12 Certification as required by WIDA
Duties/Responsibilities:
Create and maintaining a scheduling portal through Microsoft Booking
Communicate device availability, WiFi accessibility, DRC Insight functionality to IT department before first day of testing for the summer
Review all schools/students through Genesis access Home Language Surveys (HLS), contact information, and previous school records of all students
Maintain EXCEL spreadsheet with WL/ESL department secretary to revise list of summer registrants based on ESL eligibility before, during, and after screening
Conduct parent and student phone interviews if test administrator needs more insight to determine students eligibility for ESL services
Complete Records Review Form for all eligible and ineligible students before and after screening and testing
Create Test Tickets for students scheduled for WIDA Screener test
Administer and score WIDA Screener
Required Skills/Abilities: Certified in WIDA K-12 Screener (found on WIDA Portal) Knowledgeable of EXCEL spreadsheet features Able to create and maintain Microsoft Booking app
