Software Engineering Intern

General Summary:

Member of Agile scrum team to assist in the development and testing of custom Banking applications. Develops .Net, Angular, and SQL Server applications, writes unit tests.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborates on scrum team with business stakeholders to develop and test financial applications in accordance with Software Engineering Department policies and procedures.
• Pairs with software engineers to create automation scripts for releasing & testing code in non-production environments.
• May create/enhance SSRS departmental reports.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Working knowledge of .NET development preferably using Visual Studio. Familiarity with languages C#, JavaScript/Angular and SQL.
• Understanding of the Azure cloud.
• Desire to learn/teach software development techniques in a collaborative environment on an Agile scrum team.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Interpersonal skills necessary in order to interact effectively with FHLBank personnel.
• A financial aptitude is desired in order to understand the business processes.
