ABOUT INTERNSHIPS

This internship is 40-hours per week between Monday and Thursday.  Work will be located in and around the larger Green Bay, Madison and Amherst markets. Transportation will not be provided; This must be arranged by the intern.

Internships begin in May 2025 and will conclude in the middle of August 2025.

Off-Site Crew Intern/Seasonal Carpenter/Framer

• Light framing of both residential and commercial projects with guidelines and support. Setting of panelized walls, floors, trusses and roofs.
• Completing all required safety programs and following established safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Working in the manufacturing plant as needed.
• Attention to detail and excellent communication.
• Uber - Positive, enthusiastic, winning attitude!
• Utilizing common carpenter skills.
• Must be comfortable working in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments.
• Keeping a clean work environment includes job sites, company vehicles, and job trailers.
• Measuring and marking cut lines on materials using a tape measure, ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge.

REQUIREMENTS/ELIGIBILITY

Interested students:

• Must be 18 years old.
• Must hold a valid Wisconsin Driver's License
• Require great hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity.
• Must be able to use power tools, tape measure, read and understand work instructions, materials, and communicate with customers, co-workers, and contractors to ensure excellent customer service.
• Requires ordinary ambulatory skills; stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and manipulate weights of 5-100lbs.
• Should have experience in framing, construction, installing doors/windows, building materials, or similar industry is a plus.
• Be able to work within and be a contributor to a successful team!
