The NorthRock Ministry Internship is designed to develop applicants in the skills and knowledge necessary for full-time ministry work. You will have the opportunity to develop under some of the best leaders in ministry through a team environment that encourages personal and professional growth.
We’re looking for individuals who:
- Have served consistently in the church for a minimum of 6 months.
- Have secondary education and/or work experience equivalent.
- Can work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Believe they have a vocational call of ministry on their lives.
- Are 18-30 years old.
You will be required to:
- Commit to the Internship for 12 months.
- Hold a minimum of 20 hours per week (weekends included) at NorthRock.
- Be onsite Tuesdays from 7am-3pm.

You will be challenged by:
- Developing your leadership skills and taking your God-given talent to the next level.
- Accomplishing tasks and developing ideas to help strengthen different areas of ministry.
- Leading a small group and/or leading a Rockstar team.
- Working collaboratively with volunteers and staff members.
- Expanding your developmental and logistical knowledge of leadership and operations
- Meeting with a supervisor directing your professional development.
- Being evaluated and coached quarterly.
Resident selection will be determined by:
- Experience in your desired area and interest in ministry
- Enrollment/Employment status
- Team chemistry as demonstrated by the active role held in a particular area of ministry
- Reliability and commitment shown through previous interactions with supervisors and staff
- Desired future ministry goals
