Clinica Sierra Vista, accredited by the rigorous Joint Commission, serves patients at 31 health centers in Fresno and Kern counties. Our services include Pediatric Care, Adult Care, Dental Care, Behavioral Health, Case Management, Prenatal & Women’s Health, Substance Abuse Treatment, HIV/AIDS testing and treatment, Health Education, Outreach and WIC services. We're looking for someone to join our team as a Medical Director of Internal & Family Medicine- Kern County who:

Is responsible for providing clinical leadership and oversight alongside the Executive Medical Director, ensuring the highest standards of patient care, and supporting the professional development of the clinical team. This role involves a combination of administrative duties, direct patient care, and strategic planning to enhance clinical operations.


Benefits:  

  1. $280,000-$300,000 Base salary (Commensurate with experience)  
  2. Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance for physician and family (begins on first day of employment)  
  3. Sign-on bonus of up to $150,000 or Mortgage Subsidy up to $150,000.
  4. Paid CME  
  5. Relocation reimbursement  
  6. Loan repayment through the NHSC.  
  7. Malpractice coverage through the FTCA/Federal Tort Claims Act. 
  8. J1/H-1B visa candidates are welcome, CSV is cap exempt for H1-B Visa

Qualifications:

Graduate from an accredited school as an M.D., or D.O


Must possess:

  • California Medical License
  • DEA Certificate
  • Current BLS certification through the AHA
  • Board Certification in respective specialty 
  • Must be able to stay credentialed at CSV with affiliated organizations (when needed), in addition to local, state, and federal payors as needed by CSV.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Previous leadership role in a FQHC or residency program
  • Previous experience in quality improvement activities
  • Proficient on Epic (EHR) 
  • Previous experience in Electronic Health Record optimization activities
  • Interests in clinical research
  • Experience in integrating Provider Wellness Initiatives
  • Must be able to work a full-time schedule.
  • Must be able to pass all pre-employment screening (background check, drug tests, and references).
  • Must be able to comply with organizational behavioral standards.
