Masters Level Intern

Stewards of Recovery is seeking a part / full-time Intern Therapist/Counselor to join our team in our outpatient treatment facility, residential treatment facility and also our youth treatment facility. Candidate need to be in their master level program and be able to provide documentation of this.

Stewards of Recovery has operated in Idaho for over 8 years, focusing on helping our local community while also accepting clients from throughout the state. Job Description

• Populations served are adults, youth, and families in need of substance use treatment or co-occurring treatment.
• Primary responsibilities:
  • Assessments, individual therapy, group therapy, couples/family therapy, and other clinical therapy work as needed.

Compensation

• Internship compensation is not guarantied and will be dependent on one's previous experience, what year they are in with their master program and completing training.  

Benefits

• There are no benefits for internships

Minimum Qualifications and Required Experience

• Must be enrolled in a masters level human service field such as social work, counseling, marriage and family 
• Be able to use electronic health records system
• Must be organized with paper work 
• Must be able to demonstrate active listening, problem solving skills and critical thinking.
