So, what will you be doing?

Drax’s internship program is a fast-paced and exciting opportunity to gain professional experience working in-house. Interns within the Legal department will be challenged to apply their knowledge gained in the classroom to real world problems. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands on experience working on transactional work for Drax’s Pellet Operations. The Legal intern will assist legal counsel in diverse areas of law including; commercial contracts, labor and employment, environmental, health and safety matters, and corporate governance.

As part of your duties, you will: 

• Conduct legal research and drafting legal memoranda;
• Draft contracts, agreements and NDAs;
• Conduct legal due diligence; and
• Assist with various labor, employment, and environmental projects.

You possess the following experience:

• Must be in 1st year of study in Law School (1L)
