Job Description

Schnucks’ Intern Program is an immersive corporate internship based at our St. Louis, Missouri headquarters. Interns gain real-world experience in their designated department, and collaborate on a cross-functional, inter-disciplinary group project during the summer. This is a paid internship that requires full-time attendance 6/2/25 through 8/8/25, and part-time availability during the school year.

Candidates must be local to St. Louis, Missouri to be considered for this role as it's required for interns to come into the office 2 days a week during the school year and 3-4 days a week in the summer.

Responsibilities:

  • Interact with the HR team to support a broad range of HR initiatives within the Human Resources department.

  • Support selected projects in areas such as learning, talent management, performance management, career development, assessment, and continuous listening through analyses of needs, best practice research, creation of tools and resources, delivery of Workday processes, and project coordination.

  • Assist in completing needs analysis, creating, implementing, and evaluating leader and teammate learning.  Audit learning pathways to support ongoing career development.  

  • Compile and complete data analyses to identify opportunities and provide insight to business leaders.

  • Assist others in the department and complete other duties as assigned. 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Required Education: Current and Fall 2025 enrollment in a Bachelor’s Degree or Graduate program preferred.

  • Preferred degrees include Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business, and/or other related fields and completed at least 30 credit hours.

  • Available to work part-time during the 2024-2025 school year and full-time 6/2/2025-8/8/2025.

  • Minimum GPA 3.5 preferred.

  • Interest in Schnucks advancement post-graduation.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong teaming and collaboration skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication 

  • Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative and accountability

  • Strong organizational, multitasking and prioritization skills

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Working knowledge of Google Sheets, Slides, and Documents preferred

  • Workday experience preferred

Additional Requirements – Internal candidates:

  • Store/Facility Teammates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks.
  • Store Support Center Teammates: minimum of one year employment with Schnucks.
  • Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline).
  • If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance.
