Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring an IT Intern to join our team at Yellowstone General Stores in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. Are you an energetic undergraduate or graduate student who’s seeking an incredible paid internship program? Delaware North offer paid internships which can be completed for academic credit. Unit Description

Yellowstone General Stores are located throughout Yellowstone National Park including near Old Faithful, Mammoth Hot Springs, and Canyon Village. The locations offer the opportunity to explore more than 1000 miles of hiking trails, 40 waterfalls, and 10,000 hydro-thermal features like hot springs and geysers. We offer dorm-style employee housing or full-hookup RV sites. We also offer an employee meal program, store discounts, and recreational activities in Yellowstone National Park for our team members.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-class technical support for all computer systems on the property, configuring installing, maintaining and training concessions point of sale systems, as well as troubleshooting TCP/IP, LAN/WAN connectivity, Android OS and Windows OS issues, and other related issues
  • Set up and maintain PCs, laptops, printers, and other peripherals for end-users, as well as terminating and running low-voltage cables (Cat5e/Cat6)
  • Provide support for events, marketing, and manager meetings, including the setup and tear down of laptops and projectors
  • Provide application support for point of sale systems and Global Payments
  • Maintain digital signage throughout the property

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a 4-year degree program in IT, MIS, CIS
  • Proficient with Microsoft applications and operating systems
  • Capable of identifying problems and research solutions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and stand or walk for extended periods
