Intern for the World’s Leading Dog and Cat Products Supplier

As an intern at PetSafe Brands, you can expect to experience: 

• Coffee & Conversation: Throughout your time with us, you’ll have the opportunity to sit with different leaders across the organization in a panel discussion over coffee to ask questions about our culture, products, and their role at PetSafe Brands. 
• Training: You’ll receive training throughout your internship in the areas of PetSafe Brands culture, goal setting, presentation skills, and you’ll have the opportunity to practice the information you learn on the job! 
• Collaboration: You will be given opportunity to work cross functionally throughout PSB and gain experience working with different business units on a daily basis!

What projects/responsibilities would this intern be learning and taking on?:

We are looking for a motivated FP&A Intern to support our finance team with various financial planning and analysis tasks. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in finance, excellent analytical skills, and a strong desire to learn about financial processes and strategies within a corporate environment.

Responsibilities:

• Creating/deploying reports & dashboards in Tableau from existing excel/ad hoc sources for the benefit of category/sales managers to self serve data
• Support in the budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering and organizing data.
• Help with financial modeling and scenario analysis to assess business performance and assist in decision-making.
• Perform variance analysis to explain differences between actual and budgeted financial results
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial performance reviews and help prepare presentations for senior management.
• Conduct research and assist in gathering industry benchmarks and financial data for analysis.
• Provide general administrative support to the FP&A team as required.
