Responsibilities include:
Producing monthly and quarterly financial variance reporting of actuals to forecast, budget and prior year
Collaborating with business partners to identify business drivers of key metrics to develop outlooks for the month and forecasts for the remainder of the year
Turning variance analysis into business insights to better inform senior management to make critical business decisions and improve forecasting accuracy
Providing insights and counsel to key business partners to ensure that performance targets are achieved in the most efficient means possible
Leveraging current performance reporting to conduct sensitivity analysis, trend analysis, and business case modeling, as applicable
Assisting with compiling, updating, and improving database detailing project work by hour including designated capitalizable work and individual performance
Directly support and report to the Senior Analyst with Daily / Monthly analyses
Highly organized with a keen attention to detail and strong focus on accuracy
Ability to meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment
Ability to follow set standards in order to maintain consistency of deliverables
Desire to continuously improve, learn, including beyond just his/her area of responsibility. Continuously seeking
ways to do things better, faster, with less manual intervention
Ability to follow instructions and utilize constructive feedback
Passionate, energetic, approachable with a positive, low-ego, can-do demeanor
Proficient in Excel; experience with Word, PowerPoint
Sophomore, Junior or Senior in a 4-year accredited degree program in the study of Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics or related field
Our Summer Internship Program at Cars Commerce is designed to help undergraduate students learn professional skills through a combination of mentorship, on the job training, in-person skills training/development days, and team projects.
Program Details & Benefits:
Program Duration: June 10th - August 16th
Pay Rate: $17.50/hour
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week
Location: Hybrid (Work remote and work from the office 1-2 days out of the week)
