Dempsey & Siders Agency, Inc. is seeking a Data Entry Intern. Dempsey & Siders, an independent insurance agency, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Great American Insurance Group that has been providing insurance services and benefits solutions to our local and national clients since 1956.  

Dempsey & Siders is seeking an intern to for Summer 2025 and based on amount of work remaining at the end of the summer, D&S could offer to extend internship into the 2025/2026 school year.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Quality review for primary database (Applied Epic)
    • Update contacts for PL and CL clients
    • Make sure commission schedules have been entered for all policies
    • Clean up migrated data
  • Manage Life policies in database
    • Enter policies
    • Research existing entered policies and make needed corrections (including writing company, dates, insured, etc.)
    • Obtain updated information from various carriers or brokers.
  • Scan files and attach to database
  • Performs other duties and completes miscellaneous projects as assigned.

Education:

  • Pursuing a degree in Business Economics, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Information Systems, Insurance and Risk Management, International Business, or Operations Management
