Hours Per Week: ~35 hours/week. (9am-5pm. Flexible on working hours/shifts to accommodate classes for current students.)

Approximate Duration: May 2025 - Early/Mid 2026. (Our internships can last up to 11 months from the start date.) 

Hybrid work schedule: Work 2 days in the office (Tuesday and Wednesday) and 3 days remotely. 

Basic Function of the Position:

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in program & project management, events, customer support, process improvement and partner relations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping people, excellent organization and communication skills, and be able to work both independently as well as in a team environment.

In this role, the CES Innovations Intern will collaborate cross-functionally with colleagues on various internal and external projects, programs, and events across CES, with a focus on supporting the core functions of the CES Innovation Awards program. You will help facilitate efficient and high-quality program experiences for CES Innovation Awards participants while also maintaining the program’s integrity and success. Duties include, but not limited to, application management, content updates, customer support, event operations & logistics, and reporting.

Critical Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the intake and maintenance of program content across systems to ensure accuracy
  • Effectively communicate with customers and educate them on program requirements throughout the program’s life cycle
  • Assist in the quality control of program applications to ensure compliance with program guidelines
  • Assist in the creation and delivery of program collateral including copy writing
  • Work with external vendors on trophy production, product inventory, and shipping, ensuring proper distribution of all physical materials
  • Provide onsite logistical support for the Innovation Awards Showcase at CES.
  • Provide data reporting for CES Special Programs
  • Follow project plans and identify opportunities to improve processes
  • Track project deliverables and work with colleagues to ensure deadlines are met
  • Support CES Team with other projects
  • Perform other duties as required by business needs

Work Experience:

  • Prior experience with customer support, project and/or program management, events and/or conference planning preferred
  • Previous experience in Microsoft suite, including Outlook preferred
  • Previous experience with application & review software preferred, but not required

Education and Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience in the field of Project Management, Customer Support, Hospitality, Event Management or Marketing preferred
  • Strong and effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer-centric, proactive, empathetic mindset, particularly in communicating with international customers
  • Brings strong and proactive attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively

Additional Information:

  • PAID Internship.
  • May require travel to CES 2026 in Las Vegas (early January).
