Butler Intern - Ag Division

Butler Machinery is in search of an outgoing individual who can serve in a supportive role within the Ag Division in various sales and marketing activities. If you illustrate excellent problem solving skills, read the job description below and apply today!

Responsibility: 

• Assist the used ag team in marketing used equipment
• Assist with Competitive Program / Pricing Analysis.
• Assist in developing strategy marketing and distribution plans for the Ag Division.
• Analyze and develop market penetration information.
• Assist Inventory Control in with new machine inventory and configurations.
• Assist Used Equipment Manager with various activities including customer calls and special projects.
• Assist Ag Team with planning and logistics on various projects.
• Assist and travel with Sales team to customer sites.
• Train on Butler Machinery sales processes and techniques.
• Works within and promotes the vision, mission, and values of BMC.
• Other duties as assigned by the Ag Division Manager/Ag Program Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications 

•    Individual who is working towards a degree in Agri-Business/Agri-Economics or other related major in college preferred.

•    Problem solving skills.  

•    Microsoft Outlook and Excel skills are required.  

•    Good customer relations and communication skills – both written and verbal are essential.  

•    Outgoing personality willing to have a cross-functional role with multiple departments.

•    Must be able to meet and maintain insurable driving status.

•    Internship would be full-time hours during the summer.

Due to this being an internship position, it does not qualify for any benefits.
