Rate Of Pay: $17.00/hr.
Status: On Call

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Financial Analysis: Assist in conducting financial analysis to support decision-making processes, including profitability analysis, trend analysis, and variance analysis.
  2. Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the finance team in the budgeting and forecasting process by gathering data, preparing reports, and analyzing financial performance against targets.
  3. Accounting Assistance: Aid in maintaining accurate financial records by reconciling accounts, preparing journal entries, and assisting with month-end close procedures.
  4. Data Management: Assist in organizing and maintaining financial data and documents, including invoices, receipts, and expense reports. Ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  5. Ad-Hoc Projects: Participate in special finance projects as assigned, which may include financial modeling, process improvements, and regulatory compliance initiatives.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • ***Must be 21 years of age or older***
  • Currently enrolled in a college or university, pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and draw actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
  • Basic understanding of financial concepts, such as financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges in a dynamic work environment.
  • Must be able to obtain a required Indiana Gaming License.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

  • Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. 
  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English. 
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke. 
  • Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance according to schedule. 
  • Fast paced environment, multiple tasks to be handled under time constraint. 
  • Ability to simultaneously manage several projects, and not be frustrated by changing priorities and unforeseen obstacles to achieving objectives.       
  • Respond to visual and aural cues. 
  • Must have manual dexterity to operate all office equipment. 
  • Must be able to recognize and respond to individuals with questions.
