Financial Analysis: Assist in conducting financial analysis to support decision-making processes, including profitability analysis, trend analysis, and variance analysis.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the finance team in the budgeting and forecasting process by gathering data, preparing reports, and analyzing financial performance against targets.
Accounting Assistance: Aid in maintaining accurate financial records by reconciling accounts, preparing journal entries, and assisting with month-end close procedures.
Data Management: Assist in organizing and maintaining financial data and documents, including invoices, receipts, and expense reports. Ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Ad-Hoc Projects: Participate in special finance projects as assigned, which may include financial modeling, process improvements, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
***Must be 21 years of age or older***
Currently enrolled in a college or university, pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and draw actionable insights.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
Basic understanding of financial concepts, such as financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges in a dynamic work environment.
Must be able to obtain a required Indiana Gaming License.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke.
Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance according to schedule.
