Summer Internship (College)

This nine-week summer internship is ideal for 18-25-year-olds who are seeking to be a part of a very diverse ministry that works with people from countries all over the world. For the Nations Refugee Outreach is a Christian non-profit located in the Dallas area, which provides educational and family services while sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ to refugees who have been resettled in the United States. Interns are involved in assisting us with our summer reading program for school-aged children while also working within a ministry context that allows them to grow socially, spiritually, and theologically.

DUTIES MAY INCLUDE

• Reading with kids
• Leading and playing group games
• Preparing snacks/lunches
• Helping with Bible lessons and Gospel-sharing
• Managing visiting volunteer teams
• Assisting with ESL classes
• Assisting with swimming lessons

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be supportive of FTNRO’s mission and vision
• Must be willing to commit to at least 8 weeks (unless pre-approved)
• Must commit to the internship on a full-time basis
• Must have personal transportation
  

COMPENSATION

• The internship is paid through your individual support-raising
• The intern will be responsible for their own meals during the internship
• The intern will be responsible for their own housing during the internship
