Mission or Goal of Unit: The mission of the Division of Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine is to provide the best clinical care available for patients with lung disease and associated medical illnesses in the Commonwealth of Virginia. We feel that this care can best be delivered within the VCU Health System. Our mission is further to provide the best teaching of lung disease and associated disorders to future physicians. Finally, we strive to explore critically important lung and vascular and metabolic diseases through organized research.

Chief Purpose of this position: The chief purpose of this recruitment is to hire a board-certified/board-eligible Pulmonologist to join our growing team.

Position Responsibilities: 

VCU Health's Community Memorial Hospital, located south of our main Campus in Richmond, and near the central North Carolina border. CMH a 100-bed facility offering a wide range of patient-centered care in a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment. Our new hospital opened in 2017 is and both aesthetically and clinically spectacular. Primary responsibilities are outpatient to include 1/2 day per week bronchoscopies and procedures, with inpatient ICU and floor consults. Call coverage is approximately 10 days per month, remote.
