Job Description:
The Intern position that supports Production Planning at the AR segment of L3Harris will work cross functionally to provide support to critical programs and learn all facets of material readiness and production planning across the manufacturing life cycle.
Essential Functions:
- Managing components to support manufacturing schedule using internal ERP system (Oracle) to maintain inventory control. Reports issues to supervision for further escalation of the issues.
- Performs move orders to move inventory to production areas and communicates with various COE’s to ensure operations has everything needed for the assembly.
- Performs kitting operations to support the technicians in building critical hardware
- Performs physical counts and floor walks to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Identifies and communicates concerns and issues potential to production impacts. Works with the team to develop a solution to minimize the impact. Relays information to team members and management.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree Supply Chain Management or other related field.
