Duties:

 

Support Policyholder Services by assisting with administrative tasks.

Determine coverage eligibility for KEMI applicants based on legal entity status, closeout audits, and collections issues. Complete initial set up of the application file for all policy submissions.

Endorse policies with payroll changes, EL limit changes, location changes, and adjust billing schedules which will aid in retaining competitive accounts.

Add and expire Legal Entity blocks on accounts with closeout audits and collections. 

Request and collect updated Employee Concentration forms for applicable accounts.

Assist the Business Development and Specialty Accounts group with varying tasks such as coal census information, submission data review, and test mods.

Assist Premium Audit as needed.

Assist Safety & Loss Control as needed.

Assist Bilingual Services as needed.

Perform other duties as requested.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Strong analytical and sound decision-making skills.

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel; advanced knowledge of Outlook.

Ability to learn custom software programs.

Education:

Current student in a bachelor’s degree program; Insurance and Risk Management students preferred.                                   

Experience:

Junior or Senior level college student preferred.

FLSA Category:

Non-exempt.

 

 

Essential Functions:

 

The college student will efficiently provide support to Policyholder Services.

Ability to work at a desk for extended periods of time, communicate via telephone, operate a computer, keyboard and mouse throughout the day.

Reliable attendance.

Adhere to all company policies.

Ability to interact professionally with coworkers, existing and potential customers.
