Job Summary:

The Mechanical Engineering Intern will work closely with the Engineering team supporting the manufacturing floor while gaining “real world” experience in a manufacturing setting.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and support of engineering projects, including using software like SolidWorks and 3D CAD tools..
  • Assist engineering team with production related issues
  • Assist in projects that improve OEE on the manufacturing floor
  • Conduct research and provide suggestions for improvement on projects. Assist in the preparation and presentation of mechanical design reviews.
  • Assist in quoting Express seals

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and Microsoft Office

Education and Experience:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Previous internships or project experience in mechanical engineering is desirable 

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs pounds at times.
  • Periods of bending, walking and standing on the manufacturing floor.
