Description:
The department of Bioanalytics has an 8-12 week project suited for a summer intern to aid in the development, optimization, and qualification of method(s) to measure the immunomodulatory capacity of a new therapeutic. The intern will be trained in the in vitro assay, that could include handling and use of peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) or non-cellular complement system components. The intern will prepare reagents, buffers, controls, and qualification samples to execute experiments. The intern will collect and analyze data, generate data summary tables and assist in drafting a method protocol and report(s). The intern will prepare a presentation that summarizes their work at the conclusion of their internship.
