Position Summary

The events intern will support the Events Team within the Marketing Department of the Interventional Urology Business Unit. This internship will involve maintaining and updating event data across multiple platforms, ensuring accuracy, and assisting in the planning and execution of key educational events. This internship will report to the associate manager of events and creative strategy but will work with other members of the marketing team as assigned.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Assist with maintaining the master spreadsheet of upcoming events, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.
  • Build and update the calendar view in the spreadsheet for an easy-to-read event timeline.
  • Conduct research on each event, gathering key details such as schedules, shipping information, and important contacts.
  • Document all gathered event information in Trello, ensuring it is organized and easily accessible for team use.
  • Update and organize event details within Trello, ensuring clarity and effective team collaboration.
  • Transfer and update event data from Trello to the Events Hub platform, ensuring all information is current and accurate for the organization.
  • Provide support to broader marketing initiatives by assisting with various marketing tasks as needed.

Education / Experience Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a four-year degree program in Marketing, Business or any humanities field.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

  • Prior experience in project management is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • R-Studio software experience is required. 
  • Proficiency with Excel, Google Sheets, MS Office is required.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Valid Driver’s License
