Engineering Intern is responsible for supporting our engineering team with tasks related to part configuration, process improvement, and quality functions. Collaborate across departments, providing valuable insight into various aspects of engineering and production.

Responsibilities:

  • Configuring and analyzing part designs for manufacturability.
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure parts meet functional and quality standards.
  • Review technical drawings and specifications to ensure proper part configuration.
  • Identify areas for process improvement within the engineering and manufacturing processes.
  • Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and monitor their effectiveness.
  • Work on data collection, analysis, and documentation to help streamline processes.
  • Assist with quality assurance and control functions to ensure product specifications are met.
  • Help perform root cause analysis for product defects and collaborate with team members to resolve issues.
  • Support the quality team in conducting inspections, testing, and audits.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (including manufacturing, quality, and design teams) on ongoing engineering projects.
  • Participate in meetings and provide feedback on project progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, processes, and improvements.
  • Prepare regular reports on project status and process outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master’s degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related      field.
  • Strong interest in process improvement, part design, and quality assurance.
  • Basic knowledge of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
  • Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
