ABOUT HOLLYWOOD PARK
Hollywood Park, a near 300-acre sports and entertainment destination, is being developed by Los Angeles Rams Owner/Chairman E. Stanley Kroenke with the 70,000-seat SoFi Stadium as its centerpiece. Hollywood Park is the largest urban mixed-use mega development under construction in the Western United States. When complete, Hollywood Park will have up to 2,500 residences, a hotel, a retail district reaching up to 890,000 square feet, up to 5 million square feet of office space, and more than 25-acres of public parks and open space.
Home to the Los Angeles Chargers and Super Bowl LVI Champion Los Angeles Rams, SoFi Stadium is the host of world-renowned sporting events, including Super Bowl LVI in 2022, College Football Playoff National Championship game 2023, WrestleMania 2023, World Cup 2026, and the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Olympics in 2028. Adjacent to the stadium and under the same roof canopy is a 2.5-acre open-air plaza, American Airlines Plaza, and the 6,000-seat YouTube Theater. YouTube Theater is an intimate venue, making it the perfect place for concerts, comedy, awards shows, esports competitions, community gatherings, conferences and more.
THE INTERNSHIP
At Hollywood Park, our primary objective for our internship program is to foster emerging talent while developing future leaders of the sports and entertainment industry. This is a paid opportunity for undergraduate juniors and seniors, recent graduates, or master’s degree students who share our passion for creating extraordinary experiences. Interns will work with specific departments at our offices in Inglewood, CA and will immerse themselves in a behind-the-scenes experience. By participating in this program, individuals will gain knowledge of the business, establish meaningful connections, and explore exciting career opportunities.
EVENT SERVICES INTERNSHIP SUMMARY
Reporting to the Event Services department, the Event Services Intern will work with the team to support all aspects of event execution for small events and major stadium events, including concerts, soccer matches and NFL games. The Event Services Intern will have a large focus on guiding event load-in/load-out, in addition to providing varied support to the Event Managers and Event Specialists on event days at SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park. This position will work closely with internal and external resources to ensure seamless execution of all event related details.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the successful implementation of load-in and load-out processes while following facility operational procedures.
- Assist with developing event schedules and create event layouts in support of overall event information distribution.
- Participate in event planning meetings and site visits.
- Spend time in the Event Command Center on event days, ensuring smooth event flow by tracking and managing event day requests, communicating with relevant departments, and supporting real-time problem-solving to address any issues that arise during the event.
- Prioritize needs of team tenants, visiting teams, and visiting promoters/artists while ensuring integrity of facility policies and operations.
- Assist in coordinating and executing band and cheer operations for PAC-12 and Mountain West teams during the annual LA Bowl, ensuring smooth logistics, communication, and on-site support for all performances and appearances.
- Document during and provide after-action and post-event summary notes.
- Develop and maintain a harmonious working relationship with other tenants, facility contractors, county emergency personnel, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Assist with additional event related tasks and support other team members as needed.

- Develop skills in event planning and coordination by assisting with scheduling, layout creation, and information distribution to ensure organized and efficient event execution.
- Build teamwork and collaboration skills by supporting various event tasks, working with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the overall success of the event.
- Cultivate strong time management skills by learning to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Take initiative by proactively identifying tasks, anticipating needs, and working independently to support event operations.
HOURS & DURATION
- Part-time (20 to 25 hours per week); must be available to work at events, many of which occur on weekends and evenings, as directed by their immediate supervisors

WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM PEOPLE WHO…
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program as a junior or senior, recent graduate, or master’s degree student
- Pursuing a degree in Business, Hospitality, Events, and Communications, or similar area of study
- Must be able to travel to the SoFi Stadium offices in Inglewood, CA at least 2-3 times per week

COMPENSATION: $20 per hour / $30 overtime
In compliance with the California Pay Transparency Act, compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for this position only. Hollywood Park considers a candidate’s education, certification, prior experience, as well as internal and external data when determining the salary level for potential new employees. Only in exceptional circumstances, if an external candidate has the experience, credentials, or expertise far exceeding what is expected for the position, would Hollywood Park consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.
